August 2018

On 08/03/18 at approximately 7:29 am, a resident of Dow Road reported that a vehicle parked at their residence was burglarized sometime in the overnight hours of 08/02/18. Unknown actor(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed a laptop and headphones.

On 08/03/18 at approximately 8:15 am, a resident of Dow Road reported that a vehicle parked at their residence was burglarized sometime in the overnight hours of 08/02/18. Unknown actor(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed several personal items.

On 08/03/18 at approximately 9:48 am, a resident of Candlewick Lane reported that a vehicle parked at their residence was burglarized sometime in the overnight hours of 08/02/18. Unknown actor(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed a laptop.

On 08/03/18 at approximately 2:18 pm, a resident of Dow Road reported that two vehicles parked at their residence were burglarized sometime in the overnight hours of 08/02/18. Unknown actor(s) entered the unlocked vehicles and stole cash.

On 08/04/18, Brandon Royer (age 22) of New Brunswick NJ was arrested for theft of money ($600.00) from Target at the Promenade Shopping Center. After being processed for the arrest Royer was served with a complaint summonses for theft and criminal mischief. He was released with a pending court appearance.


July 2018

On 07/05/18, an employee of Target located at the Promenade Shopping Center reported a theft. Unknown actor(s) stole several bottles of baby formula and boxes of diapers with a combined value of $428.28 from a display area.

On 07/07/18, Hector Roman (age 57) of West New York NJ was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on US Route 22 East. Roman was processed for the arrest and issued motor vehicle summonses for the following violations: Driving While Intoxicated, Refusal to Submit to Chemical Testing of his Breath, Reckless Driving, Failure to Maintain Traffic Lane and Failure to Exhibit an Insurance Card. He was released with a pending court appearance.

On 07/07/18, Sara Morales-Silva (age 51) of Somerville NJ was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with a combined approximate value of $435.04 from Macy’s at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Morales-Silva was processed for the arrest, served with a complaint summons for shoplifting and was released with a pending court appearance.

On 07/07/18, Edgardo Velez-Figueroa (age 18) of Flemington NJ was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with a combined approximate value of $109.98 from Macy’s at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Velez-Figueroa was processed for the arrest, served with a complaint summons for shoplifting and was released with a pending court appearance.

On 07/09/18, Christine Sauers (age 37) of Hillsborough NJ and Alaina Molesko (age 37) of Flagtown NJ were arrested for shoplifting merchandise with a combined approximate value of $166.00 from Target located at the Promenade Shopping Center. Both Sauers and Molesko were charged with shoplifting, processed for their arrest and were released with a pending court appearance.

On 07/12/18, Ronald Barath (age 56) of Branchburg NJ was arrested for DWI after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on US Route 22 West.  Barath was processed for the arrest and issued motor vehicle summonses for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Careless Driving and Failure to Signal Turn.  He was released with a pending court appearance.  

On 07/13/18, an employee of the UNIQLO located at the Bridgewater Commons Mall reported a theft.  Unknown actor(s) stole clothing with a combined value of $598.00 from a display area.

On 07/14/18, Officers were dispatched to 2nd Street on the report of a suspicious solicitor.  During their investigation, Ruth Archila (age 46) of Somerville was arrested for warrants out of East Brunswick, Bordentown and Princeton Township, along with hindering her own apprehension.  She was charged with Soliciting without a Permit, Registration for Solicitors Required and Hindering Apprehension.  Archila was processed for the arrest and turned over to East Brunswick Police for their warrant.  

On 07/18/18, Larry Lormefuste (age 22) of Raritan NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant.   He was lodged in the Somerset County Jail.  

On 07/19/18, an employee of the Sunglass Hut located at the Bridgewater Commons Mall reported a theft.  Unknown actor(s) stole two pairs of sunglasses with a combined value of $514.00 from a display area.

On 07/19/18, Andres Romero-Pazmino (age 34) of Brooklyn NY was arrested for shoplifting merchandise valued at $71.00 from Macy’s at the Bridgewater Commons Mall.   Romero-Pazmino was charged with Shoplifting and Possession of Burglar’s Tools.  He was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance. 

On 07/21/18, Timmie Vassor (age 52) of Staten Island NY was arrested for shoplifting merchandise valued at $602.00 from Lord & Taylor at the Bridgewater Commons Mall.  Vassor was charged with Shoplifting, Criminal Mischief and Possession of Burglary Tools.  He was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance. 

On 07/22/18, Richard Hanley Jr. (age 21) of West Milford NJ was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) after officers located his vehicle on Route 202-206.  After being processed for the arrest, Hanley Jr. was issued motor vehicle summonses for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and Operating an Unsafe Vehicle.  He was released with a pending court appearance.  

On 07/23/18 at approximately 1:00 am, officers were dispatched to Cain Court on the report of a disorderly person.  During their investigation, Kursten Kramer (age 29) of Bridgewater NJ was arrested for disorderly conduct.  She was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest and Hindering her own Apprehension.  She was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

 On 07/23/18, Stephen Naylor (age 18) of Spotswood NJ was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), after being stopped for a motor vehicle violation on US Highway 22 East.  After being processed for the arrest, Naylor was issued the following motor vehicle summonses and criminal complaints: Failure to Maintain Traffic Lane, Possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Hindering his own Apprehension.  Naylor was released with a pending court appearance.  

On 07/24/18, an employee of the Raceway Gas Station located at 1606 US Highway 22 East reported a burglary to the business.  Unknown actors forcibly entered the building, stealing cash and merchandise.

On 07/25/18, an employee of the Sunoco Gas Station located at 301 Country Club Road reported a burglary to the business.  Unknown actors forcibly entered the building, stealing cash and merchandise.

On 07/25/18, Luann Belly (age 56) of Middlesex NJ was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) following a motor vehicle complaint on US Highway 22 East.  After being processed for the arrest, Belly was issued motor vehicle summonses for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Refusal to Submit to Chemical Testing of her Breath, Failure to Maintain Traffic Lane and Careless Driving.  She was released with a pending court appearance.  

On 07/26/18, Edwin Bones-Morales (age 43) of Bound Brook NJ was arrested for DWI after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Finderne Avenue.  After being processed for the arrest, Bones-Morales was issued motor vehicle summonses for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Failure to Maintain Traffic Lane and Reckless Driving.  He was released with a pending court appearance. 

 On 07/27/18, Priyanka Kamath (age 24) of Fanwood NJ was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with an approximate value of $299.00 from the Apple store at the Bridgewater Commons Mall.  Kamath was processed for the arrest, served with a complaint summons for shoplifting and was released with a pending court appearance.

 On 07/28/18, Eviana Medina (age 20) of Edison NJ was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (Marijuana), after being stopped for a motor vehicle violation on US Highway 22 West.  After being processed for the arrest, Medina was issued the following motor vehicle summonses and criminal complaints: Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana in a motor vehicle and Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License.   She was released with a pending court appearance.

On 07/28/18, Victoria Townsend (age 26) of Edison NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant.  She posted bail and was released.

On 07/29/18, Roslyn Brown (age 52) of Bridgewater NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant and hindering her own apprehension. After being processed for the arrest, Brown was served with a complaint summonses for hindering apprehension. She posted bail and was released with a pending court appearance.

On 07/31/18, Brandon Russ (age 34) of Allentown PA was arrested for a fugitive from justice warrant out of Pennsylvania. After being processed for the arrest, Russ was lodged in the Somerset County Jail awaiting extradition.


June 2018

On 06/18/18, Donna Carreker (age 49) of Somerville NJ was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with an approximate value of $513.00 from Target at the Promenade Shopping Center. Carreker was also found to have an outstanding warrant from Hillsborough Municipal Court.   She was charged with shoplifting and processed for the arrest. She was released to the custody of the Hillsborough Police for their warrant.

On 06/20/18, Joshua Kelly (age 27) of Newark NJ was arrested for shoplifting two pairs of sunglasses with a combined value of $945.00 from the Sunglass Hut at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Kelly was found to be in possession of marijuana and had outstanding warrants from Essex County Sheriff’s Department, Edison Municipal Court, Millburn Municipal Court and Wayne Township Municipal Court. He was charged with shoplifting and possession of marijuana. He was processed for the arrest and lodged in the Somerset County Jail.

On 06/25/18 at approximately 4:48 pm Michele Bartolett (age 58) of Bridgewater NJ was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) following a motor vehicle crash which occurred on West End Avenue. After being processed for the arrest, Bartolett was issued the following motor vehicle summonses: Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and Reckless Driving. She was released with a pending court appearance.

On 06/26/18 at 11:27 pm, Karl Velikonja (age 18) of Brooklyn NY was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), after he was observed loitering in Frank Nap Torpey Park after hours. After being processed for the arrest, Velikonja was issued the following criminal complaints: Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released with a pending court appearance.

On 06/26/18 at approximately 8:1 5 am, a resident of Riha Street reported a vehicle burglary that occurred in the overnight hours of 06/25/18. $40.00 cash was reported as missing.

On 06/27/18, Alexa Marotta (age 21) of Warren NJ was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with an approximate value of $5.00 from Saks Off 5th at the Chimney Rock Crossing. Marotta was charged with shoplifting. She was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On 06/29/18, Matthew Rooney (age 28) of Somerville NJ was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (Marijuana), after being stopped for a motor vehicle violation on East Main Street.  After being processed for the arrest, Rooney was issued the following motor vehicle summonses and criminal complaints: Maintenance of Lamps, Possession of CDS in a motor vehicle and Possession of Marijuana.  He was released with a pending court appearance.

On 06/30/18, Roberto Caytuiro (age 50) and Diana Becerra-Ospina (age 31) both of Elizabeth NJ, were arrested at Lord & Taylor at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Caytuiro was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with a combined value of $355.00, while Becerra-Ospina was arrested for Hindering Apprehension. They were served with criminal complaints, processed for their arrest and released with a pending court appearance.
