May 2018

On 05/01/18, a resident of Sutton Court reported a theft. Unknown actor(s) stole a black duffle bag which contained a Lenovo T-240 laptop valued at $342.00. The duffle bag was last seen in the driveway of the residence between 8:30 am and 8:35 am.

On 05/01/18, Rhory Evans (age 18) and Nelson Pereyra (age 18) both of Elizabeth NJ, were arrested for disorderly conduct on Finderne Avenue. Both were processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On 05/03/18 at approximately 1:20 pm, a resident of Highland Avenue reported a burglary to a detached garage on their property. Unknown actor(s) entered the garage stealing a saw valued at $600.00.

On 05/04/18, a resident of Country Club Road reported damage to two of his vehicles. Unknown actor(s) slashed the tires to a 2017 Acura MDX and a 2004 Acura TL, while they were parked overnight in his driveway.

On 05/06/18, John Gray (age 73) of Martinsville NJ was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with an approximate value of $179.00 from Wegman’s at the Bridgewater Towne Center. Gray was charged with Shoplifting. He was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On 05/06/18, an employee of Avis Car Rental located at 400 North Bridge Street reported a theft. A 2015 Hino box truck was stolen from their lot during the overnight hours.

On 05/07/18, Rashaan Paige (age 35) of Sayreville NJ was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (Marijuana), after being stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Morgan Lane. After being processed for the arrest, Paige was issued the following motor vehicle summonses and criminal complaint: Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License, Maintenance of Lamps, Possession of CDS in a motor vehicle and Possession of CDS (Marijuana). He was released with a pending court appearance.

On 05/08/18, an employee of CVS located at 440 Union Avenue reported a theft. A black male wearing a blue and red sweatshirt, black pants and white sneakers, stole $9.00 worth of hygiene products from a display shelf.

On 05/08/18, Nicola Allende (age 30) of Bound Brook NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant.   She was lodged in the Somerset County Jail.

On 05/09/18 at approximately 11:50 am, a resident of Drysdale Lane reported a burglary to their residence. Unknown actor(s) entered the residence stealing jewelry and electronic devices.

On 05/11/18, Natalie Jacoby (age 47) of Bedminster NJ was arrested for outstanding warrants.   She was lodged in the Somerset County Jail.

On 05/11/18, Wali Wiggs (age 19) of Bridgewater NJ was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with an approximate value of $17.00 from the CVS located at 440 Union Avenue. Wiggs was charged with Shoplifting. He was processed for the arrest and lodged in the Somerset County Jail.

On 05/11/18, James Scott (age 37) of Vauxall NJ was arrested for DWI after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on US Highway 22 West. Scott was processed for the arrest and issued motor vehicle summonses for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Refusal to Submit to Chemical Testing of his Breath, Reckless Driving, Failure to Keep Right, Failure to Maintain Traffic Lane and Possession of an Open Alcohol Container in a Motor Vehicle. He was released with a pending court appearance.

On 05/13/18, Ronald Seibert (age 57) of Somerville NJ was arrested for trespassing at the TGI Friday’s restaurant located at 395 US Highway 202/206. Seibert was charged with Defiant Trespassing. He was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On 05/18/18, Ismary Argueta (age 29) of Highland Park NJ was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) after she was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on East Main Street. Argueta was processed for the arrest and issued the following motor vehicle summonses and criminal complaints: Driving While Intoxicated, Refusal to Submit to Chemical Testing of her Breath, Failure to Maintain Traffic Lane, Reckless Driving, Careless Driving, Obstructed View, Obstructing the Administration of Law and Disorderly Conduct/Improper Behavior. She released with a pending court appearance.

On 05/19/18, Edward Gueits (age 45) of Bronx NY was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Somerset Corporate Boulevard. Gueits was processed for the arrest and issued the following motor vehicle summonses: Driving While Intoxicated, Refusal to Submit to Chemical Testing of his Breath, Reckless Driving and Wrong Way Driving. He was released with a pending court appearance.

On 05/20/18, an employee of Pit Stop Gas Station located at 555 Union Avenue reported a theft of cash. Unknown actor(s) removed $195.00 from the cash register.

On 05/21/18, a resident of Old York Road reported a theft. Sometime between 5/19/18 at 3:00 pm and 05/21/18 at 10:00 am, unknown actor(s) removed a Troy-Bilt TB230 self-propelled mower from his yard.

On 05/21/18, Christine Behot (age 23) of Greenbrook NJ was arrested for theft of Powerbeats Headphones (valued at $199.00) from the Best Buy located at 400 Commons Way. After being processed for the arrest, Behot was served with a complaint summons for theft and was released with a pending court appearance.

On 05/22/18, a resident of Janine Way reported damage to a window on her 2001 Toyota Sienna, while it was parked overnight. Unknown actor(s) smashed a side window to the vehicle with an unknown object; nothing was taken from the vehicle.

On 05/24/18 at approximately 4:00 pm, a resident of Middlesex NJ reported that her vehicle had been burglarized while parked at Washington Valley Park (Miller Lane). The burglary occurred between 2:30 pm and 4:00 pm. Unknown actor(s) smashed a window and stole her purse which contained cash, credit cards and personal items.

On 05/24/18, Shan Sawant (age 19) of Somerset NJ was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with an approximate value of $120.00, from Saks Off 5th at the Chimney Rock Crossing. Sawant was charged with Shoplifting. He was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On 05/25/18, Loc Le (age 57) of South Bound Brook NJ was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on US Route 22 East. Le was processed for the arrest and issued motor vehicle summonses for the following: Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving and Failure to Maintain Traffic Lane. He released with a pending court appearance.

On 05/28/18, a resident of Manville NJ reported a theft of his iPhone 8, while he was at Maggiano’s restaurant located at 600 Commons Way. The phone was left unattended in the restroom and was missing upon his return.


April 2018

On 04/03/18, Kathleen McCann (age 30) and Elizabeth Hanrahan (age 40) both of Piscataway NJ were arrested for having outstanding warrants, while at the Somerset Shopping Center. Additionally, both were charged with Hindering Apprehension. McCann and Hanrahan were processed for the arrest, posted bail and released with a pending court appearance.

On 04/04/18, an employee of Valiant Power Group of Branchburg NJ reported a theft.   Unknown actors stole a Fluke Network fiber tester valued at $3,000.00 from an unlocked vehicle, while it was parked at 1922 US Highway 22 East.

On 04/06/18, a resident of Bonney Court reported criminal mischief to her 2017 Toyota Camry. During the overnight hours of 04/05/18, unknown actor(s) punctured all four tires while the vehicle was parked in her driveway.

On 04/07/18, an employee of Target located at the Promenade Shopping Center reported a theft. Unknown actor(s) stole an i Phone X (64Gb) from a display area in the Electronics Department. The phone is valued at $1,010.00.

On 04/09/18, an employee of Saks OFF 5th located at the Chimney Rock Crossing Shopping Center reported a theft. Unknown actor(s) stole a several bottles of men’s cologne from a display area. The value of the stolen merchandise is $249.00.

On 04/09/18, an unoccupied 2003 Infinity G35 caught fire in the parking lot of Wendy’s located at 977 US Highway 22 East. A 2010 Honda CRV, which was parked next to the Infinity, was also damaged. Both North Branch and Green Knoll Fire personnel responded to the scene and extinguished the fire. The investigation revealed that the fire was not suspicious in nature.

On 04/10/18 at approximately 7:30 pm, officers responded to the Bridgewater Commons Mall on the report of a fight in progress. During their investigation, Edwin Paul Thomas (age 32) of Randallstown MD was arrested for Simple Assault. He was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On 04/13/18, Stephanie Glacken (age 41) of Milford NJ was arrested for shoplifting merchandise valued at $158.00, from Lord& Taylor at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Glacken was charged with Shoplifting. She was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On 04/15/18, Thomas Solter (age 39) of Bridgewater NJ was arrested for trespassing at 1260 US Highway 22 East. Solter was also found to have outstanding warrants from Somerville NJ. After being processed for the arrest, Solter was served with a complaint summons for Defiant Trespasser and was lodged in the Somerset County Jail on the outstanding warrants.

On 04/25/18 at approximately 8:10 pm, a resident of Ocean NJ reported that his vehicle had been burglarized while parked at Maggiano’s restaurant located at 600 Commons Way. A briefcase which contained cash, sunglasses, electronic equipment and other personal items was stolen from the vehicle.

On 04/25/18, an employee of Wegman’s located at the Bridgewater Towne Center reported a theft. Unknown actor(s) purchased food items with two counterfeit $100.00 bills.

On 04/27/18, an employee of Bloomingdale’s located at the Bridgewater Commons Mall reported a theft. Unknown actor(s) stole clothing with a combined value of $2,175.00 from a display area.

On 04/27/18, Malik Morgan (age 20) of Somerville NJ was arrested for theft at Nordstrom Rack located at Chimney Rock Crossing. Morgan was processed for the arrest, served with a complaint summons for theft and was released with a pending court appearance.

On 04/27/18, Horacio Gonzalez (age 51) of North Plainfield NJ was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on US Route 22 East. Gonzalez was processed for the arrest and issued motor vehicle summonses for Driving While Intoxicated, Refusal to Submit to Chemical Testing of his Breath, Reckless Driving, and Failure to Maintain Traffic Lane. He released with a pending court appearance.

On 04/29/18, Larry Lormefuste (age 21) of Raritan NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant.   He was lodged in the Somerset County Jail.

On 04/29/18, Edgar Garcia-Guzman (age 32) of Flemington NJ was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on US Route 22 East. Garcia-Guzman was processed for the arrest and issued motor vehicle summonses for Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving and Failure to Maintain Traffic Lane. He released with a pending court appearance.


March 2018

On 03/11/18 at approximately 1800 hours, officers responded to Ardmaer Drive to investigate a disturbance. During that investigation, Massimo Capitani (age 46) of Bridgewater NJ was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI).  He was processed for the arrest and issued a motor vehicle summons for DWI.  He was released with a pending court appearance.

On 03/11/18 at approximately 1800 hours, officers responded to Ardmaer Drive to investigate a disturbance. During that investigation, Rebecca Moates-Czajkowski (age 42) of Bridgewater NJ was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.  She was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On 03/11/18, an employee of Honda Autosport located at 1201 US Highway 22 West reported a theft. In the overnight hours of 03/10/18, unknown actor(s) stole the rims and tires from nine Honda Accords, which were stored on their lot.

On 03/13/18, a resident of Raritan NJ reported that she was a victim of a theft, while at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Unknown actor(s) removed cash and credit cards from her purse, while she was in the restroom near the food court.

On 03/14/18, a resident of Wayne NJ reported of theft of his motor vehicle. A 2014 white colored Ford E350 van was stolen from the parking of lot of Target located at 200 Promenade Boulevard.  The vehicle was locked at the time of theft.

On 03/16/18, David Meladze (age 26) of Bound Brook NJ was arrested for shoplifting clothing with a combined approximate value of $160.00 from Macy’s at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Meladze was processed for the arrest, served with a complaint summons for Shoplifting and Possession of Burglar’s Tools.  He was released with a pending court appearance.

On 03/17/18 at approximately 9:40 pm, a resident of Cole Street reported a burglary to their residence. Unknown actor(s) entered the residence stealing jewelry.

On 03/18/18, a resident of Garretson Road reported that their mailbox had been intentionally damaged. Officers arrived in the area and discovered that additional mailboxes on Stony Brook Drive and Rolling Hills Road were damaged as well.  It appears that the actor(s) struck these mailboxes with a blunt object, possibly a baseball bat.

On 03/22/18, a resident of Sloan Court reported the theft of an outdoor lawn swing valued at $399.00. Officers arrived on Sloan Court, and arrested Jason Papatyi (age 30) and Raquel Pariente (age 27) both of North Plainfield for the theft.    Both Papatyi and Pariente were charged with Theft of Movable Property.  They were processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On 03/23/18, Henry Lu (age 62) of Bridgewater NJ was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Forest Avenue. Lu was processed for the arrest and issued motor vehicle summonses for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Careless Driving and Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign.  He released with a pending court appearance.

On 03/24/19 at 11:20 pm, Kyle Hughes (age 20) of Middlesex NJ was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), after he was observed loitering in Washington Valley Park after hours. After being processed for the arrest, Hughes was issued the following motor vehicle summonses and criminal complaints: Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, Possession of an Open Alcohol Container in a motor vehicle and Loitering in a Park After Hours.  He was released with a pending court appearance.

On 03/24/18, Casey Helms (age 26) of Martinsville NJ and Joseph Derissio (age 20) of Wayne NJ were arrested during a motor vehicle collision investigation on Route 202-206 South. Helms was arrested for being a Wanted Person from Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office and for Obstructing Administration of Law.  Derissio was arrested for Possession of a controlled dangerous substance (Marijuana), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and for Obstructing Administration of Law.  Both were processed for their arrest.  Helms was released to the custody of the Middlesex County Sherriff’s Department and Derissio was released with a pending court appearance.

On 03/25/18, Nora Birk (age 56) of Bridgewater NJ was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with an approximate value of $104.00 from Wegman’s at the Bridgewater Towne Center. Birk was charged with Shoplifting and Defiant Trespassing.  She was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On 03/25/18, an employee of Auntie Anne’s at the Bridgewater Commons Mall reported the theft of an i pad valued at $400.00. During the investigation, Jawan King (age 23) of North Plainfield NJ, Luquan Henderson (age 24) of East Brunswick NJ and Christina Muniz (age 18) of Basking Ridge NJ were arrested.  King was charged with Theft of Movable Property, Henderson was charged with Defiant Trespassing and Muniz was charged with Receiving Stolen Property.  All three were processed for their arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On 03/26/18, Jose Diaz (age 28) of Princeton Junction NJ was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with an approximate value of $209.00 from Wegman’s at the Bridgewater Towne Center. Diaz was charged with Shoplifting.  He was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On 03/28/18 at approximately 11:00 am, a resident of Bergenfield NJ reported that his vehicle had been burglarized while parked at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Unknown actor(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and stole his wallet, Samsung Galaxy S5 cellular telephone and a Garmin GPS unit.

On 03/29/18, an employee of the Sprint store located at the Bridgewater Commons Mall reported a theft. A white male wearing a black beanie style cap, grey colored Champion sweatshirt and grey colored sweatpants, removed a Samsung Galaxy S9 cellular telephone valued at $790.00 from a display area. This male then fled the store and could not be located.

On 03/29/18, officers responded to the Bridgewater Commons Mall on the report of a suspicious person. Dawn Roberts (age 43) of Elizabeth NJ was found to be in possession of a “booster bag”, and was arrested. She was processed for the arrest, charged with Possession of Burglar’s Tools and released with a pending court appearance.

On 03/31/18, Mariam Erkomaishvili (age 35) of West Orange NJ and Mikheil Jalali (age 38) of Brooklyn NY were arrested for shoplifting merchandise valued at $624.00, from Lord& Taylor at the Bridgewater Commons Mall.   Erkomaishvili was charged with Shoplifting, Possession of Burglar’s Tools and Criminal Mischief. Jalali was charged with Shoplifting and Criminal Mischief. They were both processed for the arrest and both were released with a pending court appearance.


February 2018

On 02/01/18, Michael Smith (age 21) of Far Rockaway NY was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with an approximate value of $100.00 from Footlocker at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Smith was charged with Shoplifting. He was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On 02/02/18, Johnathan Kersis (age 29) of Hillsborough NJ was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with an approximate value of $653.00 from Wegman’s at the Bridgewater Towne Center. Kersis was charged with Shoplifting. He was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On 02/02/18, an employee of the Apple Store located at the Bridgewater Commons Mall reported a theft. Unknown actor(s) stole two Beats headphones and computer software from a display area. These items had a combined value of $929.00.

On 02/09/18, an employee of the Chimney Rock Inn located at 800 North Thompson Avenue reported a vehicle burglary. Unknown actor(s) smashed a window of a 2003 Ford F250 and removed a remote control for the snow plow from the vehicle.

On 02/09/18, an employee of Northeast Power Dry Inc. located at 1E Chimney Rock Road reported a vehicle burglary. Unknown actor(s) smashed a window of a 2003 Chevrolet K1500 and removed a remote control for the snow plow from the vehicle.

On 02/10/18, Jamie Huezo-Dubon (age 22) of Plainfield NJ was arrested for DWI after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on US Highway 22 East. Huezo-Dubon was processed for the arrest and issued motor vehicle summonses for Driving While Intoxicated, Refusal to Submit to Chemical Testing of his Breath, Failure to Maintain Traffic Lane, Reckless Driving, Careless Driving and Possession of an Open Alcohol Container in a Motor Vehicle. He released with a pending court appearance.

On 02/11/18, Stephen Moore (age 40) of Bound Brook NJ was arrested for DWI after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on East Main Street. Moore was processed for the arrest, and issued motor vehicle summonses for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Refusal to Submit to Chemical Testing of his breath, Reckless Driving, Failure to Maintain Traffic Lane and Obstructed View. He was released with a pending court appearance.

On 02/12/18 at approximately 8:50 pm, a resident of Ten Broek Court reported a burglary to their residence. Unknown actor(s) entered the residence stealing cash and electronic equipment.

On 02/15/18, Vincenza Miele (age 53) of Bridgewater NJ was arrested for DWI following a motor vehicle crash which occurred on Finderne Avenue. After being processed for the arrest Miele was issued the following motor vehicle summonses: Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Failure to Maintain Traffic Lane and Possession of an Open Alcohol Container in a Motor Vehicle. He was released with a pending court appearance.

On 02/16/18, Dion Spencer (age 40) of Somerville NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant, after being stopped for a motor vehicle violation on US Highway 22 West. In addition, he was found to be in possession of Marijuana. After being processed for the arrest, Spencer was issued the following motor vehicle summons and criminal complaint: Maintenance of Lamps and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (Marijuana). Spencer was released with a pending court appearance.

On 02/17/18, Clayton Simon (age 20) of Basking Ridge NJ was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (Marijuana), after being stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Washington Valley Road. After being processed for the arrest, Simon was issued the following motor vehicle summonses and criminal complaints: Failure to Maintain Traffic Lane, Possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, Obstructed View, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released with a pending court appearance.

On 02/23/18, Miguel Hernandez (age 31) of Somerville NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant. He was lodged in the Somerset County Jail.

On 02/24/18, a resident of Harry Road reported a burglary to their residence. Unknown actor(s) forcibly entered the residence, but nothing was stolen.


January 2018

On 01/06/18, Justin Siroky (age 26) of Columbia NJ was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with a combined approximate value of $689.00 from Macy’s at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Siroky was processed for the arrest, served with a complaint summons for shoplifting and was released with a pending court appearance.

On 01/08/18, Jennifer Ferranti (age 34) of Somerville NJ was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with a combined approximate value of $1,599.00 from Target at the Promenade Shopping Center. Ferranti was processed for the arrest, served with a complaint summons for shoplifting and lodged in the Somerset County Jail.

On 01/09/18, a resident of Brahma Avenue reported a theft. A package was delivered to her residence on 01/09/18 at 5:33 pm that contained merchandise with a combined value of $17.00.  Unknown actor(s) cut open the package, and removed the items prior to her being able to retrieve it.

On 01/09/18, an employee of New Century Millwork reported a theft. In the overnight hours, unknown actors stole three saws valued at $1,200.00, which were being stored at 1271 US Highway 22 West.

On 01/10/18, Connie Lee (age 44) of Berkley Heights NJ was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with a combined approximate value of $114.00 from Sephora at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Lee was processed for the arrest, served with a complaint summons for shoplifting and was released with a pending court appearance.

On 01/18/18, a resident of Pinhorn Drive reported criminal mischief to two of their motor vehicles. A 2009 BMW 528i and a 2017 Mercedes-Benz E300 were damaged.  Unknown actor(s) scratched the exterior of both vehicles with an unknown object.

On 01/20/18, Omar Cruz (age 61) of West New York NJ was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with an approximate value of $353.00 from Costco at the Promenade Shopping Center. Cruz was charged with Shoplifting and Criminal Mischief.  He was processed for the arrest, served with a complaint summons for shoplifting and lodged in the Somerset County Jail.

On 01/22/18, Kevin Tabares-Navia (age 19) of North Plainfield NJ was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with a combined approximate value of $157.00 from Macy’s at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Tabares-Navia was processed for the arrest, served with a complaint summons for shoplifting and was released with a pending court appearance.

On 01/23/18, an employee of Frattellos located at 1357 Prince Rodgers Avenue reported a theft. A Glove Brand Meat Slicer valued at $2,200.00 was stolen from the business.

On 01/25/18, Delbert Caraccioli (age 33) of Piscataway NJ was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Vosseller Avenue. Caraccioli was subsequently arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (Marijuana).  He was processed for the arrest, served with motor vehicle summonses for Maintenance Lamps and Possession of Marijuana in a Motor Vehicle, along with a criminal complaint for Possession of Marijuana.  He was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On 01/26/18, two separate residents of Doolittle Drive, two separate residents of Riddle Court and a resident of Stech Drive reported criminal mischief and thefts from their vehicles. In the overnight hours of 01/24/18, unknown actor(s) cut and removed the catalytic converters from a 1999 Honda Accord, three 2002 Honda Accords and a 2005 Toyota Camry.

On 01/26/18, David Markussen (age 53) of Somerville NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant.   He was lodged in the Somerset County Jail.

On 01/27/18, a patron of the Marriott located at 700 Commons Way reported a theft of their motor vehicle. In the overnight hours of 01/26/18, unknown actor(s) stole a 2018 black Chevrolet Impala from the hotel parking lot.

On 01/29/18, Qwae Richardson (age 26) of Plainfield NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant.   He was lodged in the Somerset County Jail.

On 01/31/18, Michael Kolba (age 18) of Clinton NJ and Victor Tranquilli (age 19) of Hampton NJ were charged with Disorderly Conduct at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. A social media post which displayed a photo of both men standing on the hood of a parked and unoccupied Bridgewater Police vehicle was discovered online. Both men also received a five year ban notice from the Bridgewater Commons Mall security.
