Bridgewater, NJ - On Monday, August 12, 2024 at 05:57 pm, the Bridgewater Township Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a pedalcyclist on Walters Brook Drive, near the intersection of Purcell Road.
Jared Koren (age 20) of Raritan, NJ, was operating a 2020 Mazda CX3 and was traveling north on Walters Brook Drive when he struck a male juvenile pedalcyclist near the intersection of Purcell Road. The victim was transported to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital New Brunswick with non life threatening injuries.
This crash is still under investigation by the Bridgewater Township Police Department’s Traffic Safety Bureau and the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office.
