BRIDGEWATER, NJ - On Monday, May 30, 2022 at 8:56 PM, officers responded to a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at the Bridgewater Commons Mall on the third level of the parking deck. Responding officers located a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta on the third level of the parking deck with a pedestrian, later identified as a 17-year-old juvenile out of Watchung, pinned underneath. With the assistance of local fire companies, the vehicle was lifted off of the victim. The juvenile was alert and oriented after the crash but airlifted to Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick, New Jersey to be treated for his injuries sustained in the crash.
