On 10/29/20 at approximately 10:36am, the Bridgewater Police Department was dispatched to US 22 west in the area of the Bridgewater Diner for a report of an overturned motor-vehicle. A black Honda Civic driven by Irene Muigai age 20 (Hillsborough, NJ) was traveling west on US 22 when the vehicle left the roadway and subsequently crashed into a telephone pole causing the vehicle to overturn. Finderne Fire Department, Green Knoll Fire Department, North Branch Fire Department and Robert Wood Johnson Mobile Intensive Care Unit (M.I.C.U.) responded to the scene. Muigai was pulled from the vehicle and transported to Robert Wood Johnson, New Brunswick for her injuries.
