Fire at Trader Joe’s
Bridgewater, NJ - On 10/31/19 at 11:13 AM the Bridgewater Township Police Department responded to the Trader Joe’s Store located at the Bridgewater Promenade for a fire alarm. Upon patrol’s arrival, the manager advised that workers were welding in the back of the store and thus the fire alarm was activated. Upon Finderne Fire Departments arrival they located a fire in the rear interior walls. Damage to the store was contained to the rear of the building and consisted of Insulation and Sheetrock damage. A hole was cut into the roof to ventilate the building. It is unknown at this time if the grand opening of the store will still take place on Friday, 11/1/19. Traders Joe’s will have an announcement shortly.
